bottom line. we're not too shameless not to ask for money. we do however have a
few restrictions. no corporate donations will be accepted, period. the same applies
to any non-profit political or religious affiliated organization. we're only looking
for support from individuals that have a passion to see our trip, our work, our
visions succeed.
a little broke like we're going to be? you can still help out. what we really need
is contacts, i.e. people/families, in other countries of who we can stay with. the
more locals we meet, the more culture we imerse, the more experiences we have. so
let us know if you know by contacting
us.
of course, everyone knows the sad fact that the more money the better chance things
will be just a little easier. where will your donated funds go? into a corporate
account in reality. its a better interest rate, what can we say. the downside of
this, its not tax-deductable, sorry :(
however, funds collected will be used strictly for the following
purposes: food (2 maybe three square meals a day, lodging (if necessary), equipment
(still and video cameras) and supplies (tapes, memory cards), shipping expenses
(sending data back to our support team), internet marketing, legal fees, transporation
(on chicken busses), healthcare (hopefully not) and bribes to terrorists, police
and government officials.
monies will not be used for the following: alcohol (beer and liquor
alike), personal accessories (mp3 players), anything non-related to the physical
expenses incurred during the trip.
in the donation process, you may also specify specific items you would or would
not like you money used towards. we will honor to the best of our ability these
requests.
if you believe us or not and want to contribute, our greatest amount of thanks to
helping us see through this dream into a reality. if not, just tell everyone about
us if what you've seen here makes you happy in some randomly weird obsessive way.
